"Hello everyone - we want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have sent your support, prayers and condolences to the Fogelberg family since December 16th. It has been of tremendous comfort, not only to Dan's family, but to other fans around the world who are feeling this incredible loss. It is so overwhelming to see all the love and memories pouring in and it's greatly appreciated.

As we stated on the condolences page, we have received almost 12,000 emails to this point and are just now into December 18th mail. There have already been almost 8,000 messages posted on the Legacy website. While we love receiving all these beautiful thoughts, it is a tedious process nonetheless, so we certainly count on your patience while we go through everything. We promise all messages will make it on to the website and will be made available in book form to Jean.

NOW for some exciting news to lift your hearts!

Dan's lovely wife, Jean, has graciously chosen to share a song that Dan gifted her Valentines Day 2005. It's called "Sometimes A Song" . It is going to be broadcast this coming Monday (Feb. 4th) on WLTW 106.7 Lite FM New York at 8:15 p.m.

"Sometimes A Song" -- part of a CD Dan titled "Love In Time" which will be released later this year -- will be digitally distributed on various sites the week of Valentine's Day. We will post those sites on our news page and it will be on DF.com. Please purchase the file and encourage all your family and friends to do so as 100% of the proceeds will go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation in Dan's name. Let's continue Dan's quest for a cure!

Please check out DF.com for Jean's narrative about this beautiful gift of song. Here's another chance to support Dan's legacy and what a blessing to have another treasure to listen to!"

I tried to put this on the other thread about Dan Fogelberg but I'm still struggling with log-ins and getting bumped off of the PPL page...will it ever end?
