Save the Dates: Oct. 16th and 17th, 2009 2 BIG NIGHTS !

Postby Tom » Sat Sep 19, 2009 6:55 am

Hey gang,

Prairiedogs, especially those in Ohio, consider this a heads up.

I've been told as recently as last night the following info is a certainty:

Mark your calendar: On October 16th and 17th (Friday and Saturday) in Chillicothe ,Ohio PPL will be putting on a few shows that are shaping up to be something special.

There will be more details to follow.

Since there has been no mention of the shows yet on the site, and they have not been posted on the tour page, I thought it might be nice to give the fans some type of notice, so they can make plans. After all, it's less than a month away.

All the best,
"I have seen the future of country music and it's name is Pure Prairie League."

Postby Doug » Sat Oct 03, 2009 9:42 pm

Hey Mike! First off, thanks a million for keeping this thing we call PPL going for us diehard fans! Secondly, thanks another mil for coming to Chilli the first time and this the second time! Thirdly, a request - if at all possible could you please please please invite George Ed to perform with y'all as you did last time. Man, he blended in as smooth as silk. Country Song, Lucille Crawfield, chills, man - chills. And YOU should break out and sing Louise! Fun song - love it! Cain't recomember a thang... cmon, mon - sing it! Thanks again, Mike for keeping the fans first. Hey, we just like the music! I realize you can't do this forever, so thanks a mil for keeping it going as long as you have.
