Former PPL'er: Knocked Up

Postby Tom » Mon Sep 29, 2008 8:13 pm

Hello prairiedogs,

No, we don't have the world's first pregnant man on our hands. That honor went to someone else according to The World Weekly News.

Jeff Wilson, the man who co-wrote the monster hit Let Me Love You Tonight and engaged in many stirring guitar duels with Vince Gill, has gone Hollywood.

I stumbled on a recent article concerning the hit movie in 2007, Knocked Up. The two stars of the film are in a 70's retro record store. One of them picks up a PPL LP makes a few jokes. Smiling in the background in that scene is Jeff Wilson.

Jeff worked as a grip on the film. I checked into it a little further and it seems Jeff has been doing quite well in the Camera and Electrical Department.

He also worked on the following films: The Soloist, Tropical Thunder, Leatherheads, Mr. Woodcock, Rise, Elizabethtown, The Aviator, Kill Bill Vols 1 and 2, Dr. Doolittle 2, Almost Famous, and If These Walls Could Talk.

It's nice to hear Jeff's doing well and involved in some very successful movies.

Take care,
Tom Sheridan
