Special Request for LIDog

Dog,

Since you've long since transcribed the entire PPL catalog for a grateful nation, could you possibly work up a couple of other tunes? I'd love to learn these two:

1. "Six Feet of Snow" a Little Feat tune Craig plays quite often here lately

2. "Wishing on Another Lucky Star" a beautiful but hard-to-find JD Souther tune

(Actually, I need to find recorded versions of these also, but that's another story)

I'll buy you a beer someday...

Hey Jbz,

What a coincidence... I work for beer! That, and pizza.

Unfortunately, I don't have either recording, but I did post "Six Feet of Snow" (snuck it onto the end of the "All in Good Time" thread). It's based on a live PPL arrangement from 2005, so provided they didn't change it much, I think you'll find it useful. I'll post it again below.

As for the JD Souther tune, it's not so hard to find if you're willing to pay at least 56 bucks on Amazon for the movie soundtrack for 1988's "Permanent Record"! Whoa!!!

Here's Six Feet of Snow. Happy strummin'!
Dog

Six Feet of Snow

This is almost unbearable to hear and watch because of poor quality of the recording, but it is the only version I have access to.

It's almost worth the money for that soundtrack.

Give it a listen, JD Souther ballads are great and you can see why a PPL lover would like this.

Thanks, I thought I'd seen that "Six Feet of Snow" somewhere.
